I had this company come out one time to a new house to service our HVAC unit for the winter. I've had zero issues with the system as it's less than a year old. Now, the very same evening as their service, my heat is spontaneously not working. When I called to report this I'm told they don't offer after hours service and to make an appointment for the following day. It's a low of 28 degrees tonight and I have two small kids in the house. Absolutely would not recommend.

I have been a customer of First Class Heating and Air for at least 15 years. I have had many technicians over that time: some good, some bad, and some so so. Recently I had an accident that resulted in many physical challenges and was concerned about being taken advantage of , not physically but I know first hand that if you are a single female living alone and at an age that some put in the "elderly" population, many men in all service businesses try to "get over" on me. Now because the accident has resulted in me being in a wheelchair it is a situation that I am very uncomfortable being in.
Over the recent Labor Day Weekend my hot water tank began to leak at 11PM. At first it was a trickle but it soon became a steady stream. I used towels to try to keep the water from ruining my appliances, food, and floor. Horizon Services advertise they will be available any time for emergencies so I called them first thing in the morning. I explained that I was in a wheelchair and unable to turn off the water line or even leave if necessary. This prompted them to move me up to the urgent category and I had a plumber in less than two hours on a Sunday of a holiday weekend. It helped make me feel more comfortable that I was sent a picture and the name of the plumber, Aric Fox, He was so professional and caring that I was immediately put at ease. I needed a new hot water tank which I suspected, and he was willing to drive back to the office and install it that same day. Unfortunately the piece that was needed to connect it to the vent was not something that they had in stock and he couldn't get it until the Tuesday after the holiday.
Since the main water line under the house had to be shut off that meant that I wouldn't have any water at all. I asked him to please allow me to at least have cold water until he returned because again I was limited to only being able to access the main floor. He worked for hours trying to reroute pipes to allow me to have water. He reminded me of stories I read about angels walking among us. Because he truly went above and beyond to make sure that I would be safe and said to call the company again if anything else happened. He came on Tuesday as promised I was the first appointment. He again worked for hours making sure that everything was working properly before he left. He even swept the floor and made sure that I didn't have any clean up to do.
I know this is much longer than a typical post but I wanted to thank him publicly for the above and beyond job that he did.
Kudos to Horizon for carefully screening their applicants and only hiring the very best. I will never forget my "guardian angel" Aric Fox!

This five star rating is for the technician.. Jeffrey Bush is amazing! He is very knowledgeable, professional and kind. He listens and explains everything in great detail. I have two properties to service and have had serious install and service issues with both until I found Jeff! I seriously stay with this company because of him. Truly an asset to this company..

I called SABRS or whatever they call it now (apparently now they are called first class hvac) 2 months ago to set up an appointment to get a quote for a new hvac system. Got a text yesterday confirming they were coming today between 3-6pm. Since we live 7 hours away, we had to rush down here to be here for the tech. 6pm passes by and no call and no tech. So I tried to chat with them a little after 6pm to no avail. Then I called, and was old that since they merged with another company all the existing appts were canceled. But they texted the day before to confirm, so they did know and remember. Not sure who brought his company but they are not able to schedule appts, so what makes me think they can install an entire hvac system? Keeping track of appts is easier than doing the work, I know bc I am a contractor! If they can't do the simple things right then what expectation can I have that they can install an entire hvac system? None. Stay away!!
