Not truthful in 1st sentence of comments. Not the owner comments. This builder DOESN'T CARE about anyone. NOT quality construction. Mi-place at the Vineyards has been under construction for 10 years with no end in sight. Had to get my own plumber, electrician, granite and appliance person to fix all the damage from this builder. The worst builder in Sussex County. Will never complete the community. Warranty department is not existent. These are the pics from my window. Has not changed in 4 years. Will never finish. Get everything in writing. Not truthful.i

Really been a mixed bag for us. Heritage Creek by Fernmore Homes is a nice community, and we love Milton. Wish we had not purchased a new build. Our home has essentially been purchased “as is.” Three very minor issues at pre-closing walk through have been addressed. However, the majority of issues found at pre-closing and first three months have not been addressed one year later. And no repairs in sight. What’s the point of a one year walk though? I would recommend requiring that major issues identified at pre-closing be addressed before finalizing your purchase. Or go elsewhere.
Update: The response below from the builder is bogus. Maybe two of our many issues from preclosing and 90-day walk through a have been addressed as of one year later. My original review stands.

This is your warning. DO NOT BUY HERE. I live at the Vineyards in Lewes. Horrible builders. Still working on our community. Going on 9 years. HOA so high. Raised our rate $100 a year. Do not believe anything builder says. Never states the truth. Use your own Granite company.

Absolutely love the location...Milton and near the beach but not too busy. Great neighbors, quiet neighborhood, and love our home. Low utility bills and well insulated. Our home is the perfect floor plan and size for our life style and the lot we chose is backed to the woods. Ever so happy.

This has been put second new construction home and we are very happy...new construction is never perfect, but we are happy. We had minor issues with our floor, but Fernmoor addressed fairly quickly considering COVID delays and lack of staff. The price was right for us and we feel we invested in a great neighborhood and a gem in the rough the town of Milton...the times and neighborhood overall are charming and we couldn't ask for better neighbors and community!
