Had breakfast with a group of 10 relatives this past weekend and had a great experience. The waitress was wonderful, the food excellent, and the setting ideal with lots of light and cute decorating touches. We had pancakes, french toast, and omelettes - all were very tasty, the portions very large, and the prices reasonable. This was a busy weekend and yet food came out to the tables quickly and with a smile. We would recommend the Lemon Leaf for breakfast anytime.

Very good food and desserts. I have been here twice. Cute small restaurant in the heart of Chestertown.
Its hard to get in certain times though, Its best to make a reservation, the place is very small. They were turning people away after we were seated because they simply did not have any more tables. The waitress was a character. She was an older woman that called us "babies" but in a endearing way. (such as sweetheart etc.) She would ask "are you babies doing okay?" It was rather funny. We got good service from here and the food was very very good. Hope they can expand their dining room in the future. And the cream of crab soup is fantastic!

The Lemon Leaf was a great little stop on a getaway weekend. I had read the reviews and heard the locals rave and they didn't disappoint. Service was great, the food was delicious, and I would totally come back. We tried the cream of crab soup, it was very rich. I recommend if you are just wanting to try it get one to share. The crab cake sandwich was almost all crab and hardly any binding and filler. Overall a great stop and totally a place I frequent if I lived there.
