Stopped here last night for dinner. Hubby had the corned beef on rye and I had egg salad. Both sandwiches were very generous portions and we couldn’t finish them! The beef was tender and juicy. The egg salad was light and flavorful with good chunks of egg white. The pickles were delish. Hubby ordered a basket of fries and onion rings. All cooked perfectly! The service was friendly and quick.
We were so pleased with everything we came back this morning on our way out of town for bagels with cream cheese and coffee to go. The bagels had a perfect crunch and chew ratio. Very generous with the cream cheese. Even the coffee was good!

Because I am vegetarian I ordered egg salad on whole wheat. They were out of whole wheat so I decided on a sesame bagel. When I got the sandwich I opened the box and saw it was corned beef. I told the young man at the counter and he took it and went back to the kitchen. He brought back the sandwich and when I checked it was obvious someone had taken off the meat snd put egg salad on the now warm soggy bagel . The egg salad and bagel had chunks of corned beef on it. I told a young woman who could tell there was something wrong and all she said was “ I’m sorry” Twice but no offer to replace. Not cool.

Slightly disappointed here. Prices seem to have jumped quite a bit and was quite high for lunch. Server seemed to rather have us do take-out then dine-in with kids and was not really into it. I used to love this place but it's lacking effort, I feel. Owner needs a wake-up call.

Top notch nosh!

I got the sampler with chopped liver, brisket, corned beef, whitefish, and kugel. $29. It was so much food and totally worth it! It lasted a couple days for one. Plenty for 2 or 3.

Also got a bagel with lox and cream cheese. It was pricey at over $9 but also so good. You get a choice of 2 or 4 ounces of lox. I chose 2.

The corned beef sandwich was also fabulous. $17.

The prices are high but the quality of the food can't be beat. It was definitely a splurge on our last day. Yummy!

always look forward to coming here when I'm at the beach. they have the best latkes and applesause. also the challah French toast is very good too.
plus you get to eat pickles whilst you wait for your foodstuffs to arrive. 🍳🥞
